Spencer from the Seattle band, My Cartoon Heart, recently contacted me about capturing some photos of their show at the Conor Byrne Pub and a few promo portraits. I love capturing live music, so for a small fee I agreed to come capture the show.
Before the show I met the duo and we ventured around Ballard for 15 minutes to capture some promo photos for future use. For all of these I used a portable ring flash and a 17-35mm lens.
After the quick portrait session we ventured back inside the pub for the show. It was a good time and their mix of original music and covers were a great way to start the weekend. Check out some of the photos below.
