Lion D and Bobby Hustle Blessed Coast video shoot

Yesterday we shot a music video for Blessed Coast featuring the new tune “When We Party” by Lion D from Italy and Bobby Hustle from Seattle. Great Blue Heron Photo in The Bellingham Herald

Took this photo on Lopez Island in February. Bellingham’s San Juan Cruises announced they are offering bird-watching trip and The Bellingham Herald (I work at the Bellingham Herald as the Multimedia Editor) needed a photo. Planet Honolulu

Some people call them “mini planets” others call them “polar panoramas.” Regardless of what you call them they are fun to make and are good to have in your Photoshop bag of tricks. We started this polar panorama by combining the two photos below. We used the stars from the photo of Teddy Bear Cove in Bellingham, Washington. We then converted this photo of Honolulu, Hawaii into using the Polar Coordinates option in Photoshop CS6. After some additional tweaking of the panorama we combined the two images for the final result below. We have only made three of these thus far that we actually like and you can see them here: Equalmotion.com/polar-panoramas

Bellingham Herald: How to make kombucha with Chris McCoy at Kombucha Town

Matt took a portrait of the Kombucha Town crew for the The Bellingham Herald’s business section and shot a 30 second informational video about how kombucha is made. Chris McCoy, owner of Kombucha Town,explains the process of creating the fermented beverage kombucha from tea. Kombucha Town opened on the sixth floor of The Herald Building in downtown Bellingham in December 2012 and sells bottles of its product in that spot and in area stores and restaurants.
