Bellingham resident Brandon Nelson breaks paddling world record

Yesterday I went to cover Bellingham resident Brandon Nelson break the world paddling record for The Bellingham Herald. Polish Skimboarding Open Preview Video

Witnessing the Polish Skimboarding Open in person this year was rad. We are working on a special issue about the Polish Skimboarding Open with well over 100 photos and a longer video edit. A night in Amsterdam

The first part of the DB Skimboards European Adventure was in the Netherlands. We were picked up at the airport and then skimmed for a few hours. Later that night we went to Amsterdam. I walked the streets of Amsterdam trailing behind the skim team to try and get as many photos of Amsterdam as possible. I had just my Nikon D300s and a 50mm lens on me. I would love to go back with more time to focus on photos with a full bag of lenses and time to set my camera up on a tripod. That being said the Netherlands is a great place I would like to visit again.
