When I still lived in Bellingham and was looking for places to live in Seattle my main objective was to find a place close to Volunteer Park with a view. I did find that perfect apartment and have really enjoyed my placement in the city and roof access. It’s where I have captured a vast majority of my Seattle cityscapes photos this year.

Saturday and Sunday I took advantage my rooftop view and captured a few photos and video of the Blue Angels flying around the Seattle skyline. All the dogs in the apartment also had a small party while the humans watched jets fly by.

Next year I need to rent a 400mm f2.8 and try to capture photos from a different vantage point.
