I have been checking Locust Beach on and off for a few months now when I needed to find a cutline only photo for The Bellingham Herald and Tuesday, March 25 I finally had the opportunity to try and capture some kiteboarding photos. I put on my wetsuit and grabbed to cameras and walked out as far as I could into Bellingham Bay.

Patrick Harber, a Bellingham KitePaddleSurf employee, was the main person I took photos of since he was closer to the shore than the other kiteboarders. I really enjoyed capturing it and want to do it again for work and just for myself along with finally trying out kiteboarding. If I am going to stay in Bellingham there is no reason I shouldn’t be kiteboarding.
