Halloween 2013 seems like the longest holiday extravaganza of my life. I’m not complaining at all though.
The day before Halloween I captured photos at Toni & Guy in Bellingham for The Bellingham Herald. I took photos of J.E.M. Special Events & Beauty and Toni & Guy make up and hair artists turn people into zombies for the haunted house put on by Make.Shift at Boundary Bay.
After the zombies were ready I walked down to Boundary Bay to shoot a short video of the haunted house you can see below.
On Halloween I setup a backdrop at the YMCA for the to take photos of kids trick-or-treating downtown for The Bellingham Herald. It was a real busy two hours of photography, but the kids were great. I ended up with over 80 photos of local trick-or-treates and you can see all the photos HERE and HERE and a few of my favorites below.
After I finished those photo galleries I took my Nikon D3s and a 50mm 1.4mm and hit the town to get the adult side of Halloween. All in all it was an eventful week to say the least.
