First A1 Photo in The Bellingham Herald | Change in the day job

At the beginning of 2013 I switched from being a web developer / IT Manager at The Bellingham Herald to the Multimedia Editor. Although for years I have taken photos and video on the side for the Herald on the side I am not officially capturing images and video for the Herald. I am very excited about the new opportunity.

On Saturday I had my first A1 photo featuring one of my eagle photos. I also created a special multimedia section featuring eagle photos, video and a map locating the best places to watch eagles in the Whatcom County.
