My good friend Chach Law has been trying to get a indoor skate park going in Whatcom County for quite some time and he has continued to make progress. Last Saturday he put on a skate session / pizza party with the help of UnKnown Board shop and Cicchitti’s Pizza. I only stopped by for about 20 minutes to show some support and here’s some images I captured. Next time there is an State of Grind event you can bet the ole 10.5mm fisheye and I will be there.
I live downtown and I have seen the Morse Hardware building many, many times and that will happen no more. The old warehouse was dismantled over the course of the week. Here’s a few snaps and a video I made for The Bellingham Herald.
Lukas Nelson, son of Willie Nelson, made an appearance at the Wild Buffalo in Bellingham, Washington. Here’s some photos of the show. He performed with his band, which is known as Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real. They are from California/Hawaii and are labeled as an “American Rock n Roll band”. Video I shot of the Thrillingham dance in Bellingham for The Bellingham Herald. I put my Cannon 5D on a tripod with a wide angle lens and hand held my Nikon D300s with a 35mm to get two angles with just one person. Well, worth it in the end I believe.
The Wild Buffalo used some of our photos for their new app. We also helped Trevor Bosaw with the app development and some custom CSS styles to make the site work the way they wanted it to, while pulling in the mobile site.
