I love Hawaii

When you are in Hawaii photo opportunities just appear out of no where in parking lots like this HDR shot in Haleiwa. I have been to Hawaii six times before this trip to Oahu. I have always wanted to do the Waikiki vacation. Where I stay in a nice hotel at the city by the Beach in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Here are some of the photos I captured while there and time-lapse of Waikiki. All the photos of me skimboarding and bodyboarding were shot by my girlfriend Dana Miner. Ocean Beach Pier

Ocean Beach is one of my favorite places in Southern California and it reminds me of Bellingham. One reasons why is focus on locally owned businesses. The O.B. community has actively opposed chain businesses opening in Ocean Beach, and only a few exist there. In the 1970s, community protests led a chain of donut stores to drop its plans to open a store in O.B. Anyways, here are some snaps from the Ocean Beach's main landmark the pier.
