Sometimes you just gotta post a bunch of seagull photos for your friend who loves seagulls (aka Kelsey Wylie). These seagull photos were taken in Lagos, Portugal, Bellingham, Washington and San Diego, California.

Bellingham, Washington is a beautiful place to be in the summer. I wanted to try and capture the essence of the Bellingham summer through the things I do and what I see over the course of my favorite time of year. I captured video of skimboarding, sailing, kayaking bike riding and sun through the trees and the lapping waves on the shore in this video edit. This was just a personal project I gave myself and I hope you enjoy it! Music by Odesza: Odesza.com All the video was shot with a Nikon D7100 camera and the following camera lenses: – 10.5mm f2.8 fisheye – 14mm f2.8 – 17-35mm f2.8 – 50mm f1.4 – 105mm f2.8 macro Along with a Cinevate slider for the slider shots. Here are some of my photos that ran in the newest issue of Whatcom Magazine a publication put out by The Bellingham Herald. I snagged the cover photo for the issue with a photo from the Handcrank video shoot in downtown Bellingham on Bay Street. I also had a photo of the tower on Sehome Hill, a portrait with local artist Fancie Allen and a photo of Dashi Noodle bar owner Josh Silverman.
This summer I was part of the DB Skimboards European Tour that traveled through Europe for three weeks. The last stop of the tour was the Polish Skimboarding Open. Here are the photos and video I captured of the contest. You can also view all of this content and more in the new issue of Flatland Magazine by CLICKING HERE.
I have been trying to capture the final days of summer and a few weeks back The Bellingham Herald sent me out to get some photos of skimboarding (which was great!). My photo snagged the front page of the paper and I also threw together an edit from the skimboarding session you can watch below. Part way through the photo/video shoot I was called out to cover a drug sweep with the Bellingham Police (watch video here). It was an interesting day to say the least…
Yesterday I went to cover Bellingham resident Brandon Nelson break the world paddling record for The Bellingham Herald.
