Portland, Seattle and Tacoma cityscapes

I made the trip down to Portland with my girlfriend Alyne to get away for the weekend and I thoroughly pondered not taking a camera with me. Alyne said “you know you will regret if you don’t bring a camera” and she was right. In-between eating at Voodoo Donuts and sampling some beer at Deschutes Brewery I took a little bit of time to capture a long exposure photo of Hawthorne Bridge and the Portland cityscape over the Wilamette River. The view of Mt Rainier was so clear that day I had to take a few photos and the one below is from Ruston Way. Mount Rainier over Tacoma: Buy a print On the way back to Bellingham I made a stop at Kerry Park in Seattle and also captured a few photos of the Seattle skyline with Mt Rainier in it. Brandy the Bellingham beach dog

Brandy the dog has been at the beach I go to Bellingham for years now to the extent I know the owners and have searched the beach for her when her owners couldn’t find her. Whenever someone heads to the beach she tags along. She is getting up there in years now, but she still loves to dig holes more than any dog I have ever seen.
