Yesterday I went to cover Bellingham resident Brandon Nelson break the world paddling record for The Bellingham Herald. Guide to Summer Cover photo and Harry the dancing dog

I captured the cover of the Guide to Summer with a photo from Boulevard Park in early June. I also had an eagle photo and a photo of Harry the dog run inside the annual magazine. Last night while shooting Downtown Sounds in Bellingham I saw Harry again enjoying the show and had to shoot a quick video of him.

Kulshan Chorus photos and video

A recent assignment for The Bellingham Herald about the Kulshan Chorus focuisng on Roger Griffith directing his final rehearsal with the Kulshan Chorus on April 22, 2013. Griffith is retiring from the chorus after the concert on April 27, 2013 at WWU’s Performing Arts Center. Matt shot the video and created a gallery to accompany the story. Harlem Shake at WWU

The Harlem Shake videos are everywhere and Western Washington University decided to give it a try. Here’s a few photos and a video of the Harlem Shake at Western. The video wasn’t intended to be an actual “Harlem Shake” video. It was just to show local students creating one. That’s not really how people have received it though.
