I ventured to Nashville for a two night to check out the local music scene. I have never been a big fan of country music, but hearing it live in Nashville made me like it a little bit.
When we got to Memphis, Tennessee for a layover you could tell that we in the south. My friend Matt ordered a breakfast sandwich.

This was not your average breakfast sandwich due to the southern-style sausage and what we believed to be cheese.

Another thing that I found to be odd was the amount of styrofoam that was being used everywhere. Paper must be expensive in the south?
Nashville has one hell of a nightlife. A majority of these photos were taken on a Sunday and there were plenty of people at the bars and roaming the streets.

The live music was surreal. It ranged from “honky tonk” to surf rock.

Nashville is a pretty photogenic place in general.

The tributes.

The trucks.

The random political statements.

The door signs.

The American Power buttons worn on denim jackets.

The questionable areas of town.

The beer.

The nude karaoke?

And most of all Elvis.
Too truly understand your countries place in the world one must understand your countries cultures. I know a lot more than I did before. The trip to Nashville was well worth it.\
